New email filtering product complements email policy

Red Earth Software releases Policy Patrol version 2.0

Carson City, NV - December 2, 2002 - Red Earth Software, developer of email policy enforcement software, today announced the release of Policy Patrol version 2. In addition to the disclaimer features of Policy Patrol 1.4, the new version includes more advanced disclaimer possibilities and offers spam blocking, antivirus, keyword filtering, attachment blocking, compression and many other email management features. With its customizable rules and numerous email filtering possibilities, Policy Patrol helps companies enforce their email policy and manage their email more effectively.

Policy Patrol 2 includes much sought after disclaimer functionality, such as HTML disclaimers with pictures and tables and disclaimers as text attachments. Moreover, Policy Patrol can avoid multiple disclaimers being added when replying or forwarding, thus putting an end to the long lists of disclaimers at the bottom of emails. Finally, Policy Patrol is the first server product that can position disclaimers and signatures after the last entered message text instead of at the bottom or top of the mail.

In addition to disclaimers, Policy Patrol 2 now offers the full range of email security and management features. 'Policy Patrol not only offers the usual spam blocking, antivirus, keyword filtering and attachment checking features, but also offers companies the possibility to actually manage their emails', says Mike Spykerman, CEO of Red Earth Software. 'Policy Patrol ensures that the company email policy is adhered to by filtering emails on certain conditions and performing predefined actions. These actions can include powerful email management options such as adding email addresses to filters, changing message priority, auto printing, running a program, attaching a vCard, sending blind copies & auto replies, and assigning billing codes.'
